Warner Bros. is re-releasing IT in theaters this August, featuring unseen footage from its upcoming sequel IT: Chapter Two post-credit footage.
It will be a two-night event which moviegoers will be able to watch the first film again. The dates are August 3 and 6 and those who will attend the screenings will get to see a sneak peek at the upcoming IT movie.
IT adaptation of director Andy Muschietti on Stephen King's popular novel became a huge success which was released in 2017, grossing $700 million worldwide and scoring 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. And they are expecting that the sequel will be one of the biggest horror films.
The Losers Club is returning 27 years after the incidents of the first movie. They will be ending what they started years ago by defeating Pennywise once and for all. Bill Skasgard will reprise his role as Pennywise. The adult Losers club will be potrayed by James McAvoy as Bill Denbroiugh, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom and Andy Bean as Stanley Uris. Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer and Wyatt Olef will be back also as the young verson of The Losers Club. Muschietti confirmed that the sequel will run in at 2 hours and 45 minutes.
