PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds officially rolls out its fourth season on PC today, and most of the updates are focused on the island of Erangel. Console players will have to wait a bit longer for the season update though, as the Season is expected to drop on consoles later this summer.
Erangel is receiveing a complete makeover, new visual overhaul, new complexes, and lore and secrets scattered across the island. Car radios and turntables can now also be turned on, allowing players to jam out while camping on the go.
Launching with the update is the Survivor Pass: Aftermath. For a $10 pass, the players will be granted access to community-driven missions and rewards, unlockables, and pass levels. The survivor title system is also making its comeback, rewarding players with skins for repeated engagement.
Also added are, increased damage to certain vehicles, movement while healing, and SMG distance updates. Check out further update notes on the game's official website.
