During the Comic-Con at San Diego, Marvel announced that Thor: Love and Thunder will be the next Thor movie. We will see the return of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie and Taika Waititi as the director.
Jeff Goldblum teases Grandmaster's return in a post published on the actor's Twitter account. Goldblum tweeted the Thor: Love and Thunder title card with added text bellow,"And not forgetting The Grandmaster." Goldblum also Thanked Taika Waititi in the post.

The Grandmaster's first appearance was during the credits of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 but he had a more significant role in Thor: Ragnarok. The Grandmaster was the ruler of the planet Sakaar and the leader of a gladiator contest that forced Thor fight Hulk. As Thor escaped the contest, a revolt against the Grandmaster went down, ousting him as the ruler of Sakaar.
James Gunn confirmed that the events of Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 will take place after Thor: Love and Thunder. Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theaters on November 5, 2021.
