A brand new trailer for Snowpiercer has been revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con 2019 that features a moving train that houses the last remnants of humanity
Based on Jacque Lob's graphic novel Le Transperceneige and the movie adaptation fil starring Chris Evans in 2013, Snowpiercer's latest trailer showcases Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs aboard the train that looks like anything but paradise.
The last of the human survivors appear to have been aboard the train for 6 years, 9 months, and 26 days, but the freezing temperatures is the least of their worries. Mounting tensions between different classes of their society appear to be leading towards a mutiny of sorts.
The Snowpiercer series was first announced in 2015 and is set to release on TBS in spring of 2020, with Graeme Mason as it's showrunner.
As for the Difference between the movie and the new series, Diggs has said that "the politics that are hinted at in the film are explored in much more depth, and the mechanism of the train — just the little things that create a world, world specificity."
