Fan are wondering when they will see the characters that Disney acquired from Fox in the MCU. According to Charles Murphy, the villain of Black Panther 2 will be Doctor Doom.
Murphy said that information comes from a trust worthy sources but he iterates that it has not been fully verified. The rumor dictates that Victor Von Doom will begin expanding his empire into Africa, coming into conflict with the nation of Wankanda and Black Panther. In comics, it is similar with the 2010 event Doomwar which Doom invades Wakanda to get Vibranium.
Before Fox acquisition, Noah Hawley had developed a Doctor Doom solo film, but those plans have been halted. "I mean, it combined genres. And it’s sort of a Cold War parallel film. And I really like it. I’ve been too busy to really lean on them, and they certainly haven’t called me on the phone. And during my sit down with Kevin Feige, when he asked about the Doctor Doom movie, he said, 'Are you still working on it?' And I said, 'Should I still be working on it?'," Hawley said in an interview. "I said, 'I assume you guys have a plan in a drawer somewhere for the Fantastic Four.' And [Feige] smiled a little bit, but would neither confirm nor deny. But yeah, I think it would be a great comic book movie certainly."
Fans will still have to wait if the rumor turns to be true. Doom's inclusion to the MCU would be epic, considering the fact that Doctor Doom is one of the best villain in Marvel. Do you want to see Doctor Doom in Black Panther II?
