Fans are wondering if Scott Lang will be getting more from the astonishing shrinking character in the years to come. We last saw Ant-man saying his goodbyes to Tony Stark in the finale of Avengers: Endgame.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Kevin Feige is teasing that Ant-Man has still a future in the francise.
“The chess pieces were arranged very purposefully after ‘Endgame.’ Those that are off the board are off, and those that are still on, you never know.”
Peyton Reed previously revealed a trilogy was his intention with the character.
"I think that was the case in the first movie, particularly when Adam McKay and Paul were reworking the script on the first movie. In that movie, we added the Quantum Realm and Janet and stuff like that knowing that if we were able to make a sequel that that could be fertile ground." Reed added,"There are definitely things in this movie that, if we're fortunate enough to make another one, there's a lot to play with. We spend more time in the Quantum Realm in this movie, obviously, than the first movie but it feels like we're just dipping our toes into it."
Fans are speculating that ageing up Scott Lang's daughter Cassie, could mean shes going to be part in either Ant-Man 3 or the Young Avengers TV show and according to sources, Ant-Man and Wasp will be part of the New Avengers team.
