Were you disappointed by the fact that Square Enix opted to remaster Final Fantasy VIII instead of remaking it like it did its predecessor? Well, the flipside though is that we don't have to wait years for its release. Developers reveal that Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will be released on September 3, 2019, for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
Announced via Final Fantasy's Twitter account alongside a brand new release date trailer, the remastered version will bring the 1999 classic to the present day with "new graphical enhancements and a whole host of options to customize your gameplay experience."
