Fernando Melo, the lead producer on Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, and the upcoming and still untitled fourth Dragon Age game part ways with Bioware, a company he has been at for the past 12 years.

This comes only two days after the departure of fellow lead producer, Ben Irving from the company. However, unlike Melo, who was working on Dragon Age 4, Irving was the lead producer on Anthem. Melo took to Twitter late last night that he had left Bioware that day, posting a parting email to the rest of his coworkers and colleagues. As for why he's leaving, the producer doesn't divulge too many details.

Melo mentions the new Dragon Age, describing it as the "definitive Dragon Age experience."

"I'm incredibly proud and honoured to have played a part in that. I'll be eagerly awaiting the opportunity to experience the next Dragon Age as a fan this time around," added Melo.
